MOOOV filmfest to host Iran’s ‘That Night’s Train’

Iranian feature film ‘That Night’s Train’ has made its way to the MOOOV International Film Festival in Belgium.

Hamidreza Ghotbi’s movie will represent Iran at the main competition section of the event which is to be held on April 20-May 30, 2021.

The film has so far participated and won awards at various international film festivals in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Greece, China and India.

The 85-minute movie tells the story of a little girl who meets a female writer on a train.

The writer promises to call and visit her later. The promise, in the writer’s mind, is just a theme for her new story, but so serious for the little kid.

To overcome the sadness, the kid endures, her father who is an author himself comes to rescue.

The events that follow make the border between reality and fantasy blurry and obscure.

Afshin Hashemi, Siamak Safari, Behnaz Naderi, Maryam Boubani, and Bahram Shakeri star in the film.
